class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A <strong>energy simulation<\/strong> it is a dynamic bioclimatic analysis that allows <strong>diagnose<\/strong> y <strong>optimise<\/strong> the project the design team is working on and make changes that significantly affect energy performance.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The purpose of energy simulation goes beyond regulatory verification or energy certification.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter wp-image-25997 certificate?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One <strong>Energy performance certificate<\/strong> It is a regulatory verification that allows the comparison of annual consumption and demand against regulatory values, to verify compliance with energy savings. <strong>DB-HE of the CTE<\/strong> and issue a <strong>Energy Performance Certificate<\/strong>, but it does not make it possible to identify exhaustively what we must do to improve its energy performance.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The aim of an energy audit cannot be to compare pre-set indicators against limit values, but rather to be able to carry out an exercise <strong>technical-economic<\/strong> of the different elements that make up the building and choose those that are the most <strong>great<\/strong> throughout the <strong>lifespan<\/strong> of the building.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In short, an energy performance certificate <strong>IT IS NOT A VALID TOOL<\/strong> for project decision-making because it uses an overly basic methodology.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter wp-image-25972 size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"567\" height=\"172\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An energy performance certificate <strong>IT IS NOT A VALID TOOL<\/strong> for project decision-making because it uses too basic a methodology, the ideal tool is a <strong>dynamic energy simulation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>What benefits does an energy simulation have?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Identify which parts of the <strong>envelope<\/strong> there are more energy losses from the building<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Find the best <strong>volumetrics<\/strong> y <strong>solar orientation <\/strong>according to the project's features and bioclimatic conditions<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Optimise <strong>compositions<\/strong> y <strong>thicknesses<\/strong> of the envelope closures<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Optimise thermal properties of the <strong>windows<\/strong> by solar orientation<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Improve the <strong>thermal comfort<\/strong> user's<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Choose the best ones <strong>sunscreens<\/strong> depending on orientation and solar incidence<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Avoid oversizing the <strong>climate control systems<\/strong> calculating the thermal loads&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Choosing strategies for <strong>natural ventilation<\/strong> for cooling<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Measure and optimise <strong>the project consumption<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It can be used to qualify for <strong>international is the best time to run an energy simulation?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The sooner the better.<\/strong> Do energy modelling in a <strong>early stage<\/strong> of the project (pre-project or basic project) makes it possible to achieve a <strong>energy saving<\/strong> up to 45% on average compared with a reference building.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thanks to energy simulation, the design team can decide which systems will be the most <strong>efficient<\/strong>, depending on the weather conditions, the type of building to be designed and its use.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter wp-image-26031\"><img
